Adam’s Eve

To not live forever Adam
"… The worketh wrath of the law: for where no law, there is no transgression." (Romans 4:15, KJV)
If there are no laws existed, whether external or internal, to tell us that it is wrong for one person, for instance, to steal the newspaper from the front step, then what would your reaction be if that happened? If you do not "know" that the act was wrong, why are you angry? You would not. Not would present anger. It is the knowledge of the law produces wrath.
Anger, or anger, when strong enough or long enough in the bottle can cause them death. High blood pressure, strokes, heart attacks can be, and are caused by excessive anger. Anger can kill by degrees, in which stress that the damage to their welfare system, the depletion of their health, therefore, his life. Or you can kill another person. You've heard of crimes of passion. Road rage. People with rage impulsively: When tempers flaring, "which could kill you!" So the knowledge of the law produces wrath, one way or another, can result in death.
In a way, ignorance is bliss!
Therefore, there must be a way out. (I'm sorry, anyone said, 'Way'? Hmmm … I have heard that Jesus is the Way, Truth and Life) (John 14:6). Wait! Did I say "life"? In the garden (see previous post) besides the tree of knowledge of good and evil was also present The Tree of Life. The LORD God originally failing to warn against the First Couple to partake of the fruit. The Scriptures tell us that there are many other "trees" at all pleasant to the sight and good for food, none of which were out of bounds. The tree of knowledge of good and evil.
It was not an election, had options.
I heard it taught that neither Eden or Adam and Eve, never really existed, and that this account of the fall in the garden was intended to embody the truth, principles, etc. I have heard this taught by a preacher whom I respected and still do. Personally, I am the Genesis account of creation literally. I recognize the symbolism may be present, too. (It is true, however, that with the Lord, anything is possible.) So, go ahead in a literal garden …
Once the first man and woman had been involved in forbidden knowledge, God had a problem. Humans are not equipped to handle that awareness. I seem to have been an act of mercy that Adam and Eve were removed from Eden, cherubim and a flaming sword, "which turned every way" thrown "to save the path of the tree of life "(Genesis 3: 24)," … lest he (Adam) … take … and eat and live forever "(v. 23). My guess is supposed to live forever with the knowledge would have been a tortuous way to hell for the couple, and all that followed. God mercifully blocked their way. But driving out of Eden, He also launched his plan of the ages, to help all make our way back. Back to 'Eden' return to freedom, back to God.
Now if any of you are still with me! this is where I have to ask you to take a leap of faith … waiting here we go ….!
In the New Testament book of Hebrews, the image of a two-edged sword is used to describe the word of God. In my mind, then I see this flaming sword turning in all directions, possibly a form of truth, powerful and content in spoken words with skill, protection and preserve what is most dear, the more you want – life and freedom that God intended
to yourself. I have seen some pastors preach, and thought, are the flaming sword, keeping the truth from the lies of the enemy.
When I first started to read about Thomas Jefferson, about his multifaceted, rapidly changing individual, "the elements of his thinking and taking nature [ing] different find patterns and shadows of the meeting, one crisis to another, moment by moment "(RB Bernstein, Introduction, Thomas Jefferson), I kept get this overprinting a flaming sword turning every way, located east of Eden.

Adamgirk: The Adam Book of Arak’el of Siwnik $134.41 This is the first English translation of the major Armenian epic on Adam and Eve composed by Arak”el of Siwnik” in the early fifteenth century. Arak”el writes extremely powerful narrative poetry, as in his description of the brilliance of paradise, of Satan”s mustering his hosts against Adam and Eve, and Eve”s inner struggle between obedience to God and Satan”s seduction. In parts the epic is in dialogue form between Adam, Eve, and God. It also pays much attention to the typology of Adam and Christ, or Adam”s sin and death and Christ”s crucifixion. By implication, this story, from an Eastern Christian tradition, is the story of all humans, and bears comparison with later biblical epics, such as Milton”s Paradise Lost. Michael E. Stone”s version preserves a balance between literary felicity and faithfulness to the original. His Introduction sets the work and its author in historical, religious, and literary context. |
