Female Love Dolls
What is a good Comedic, female soprano, musical theatre piece/song?
I need one for state thespians next year because I would like to get a solo musical number. It has to be less than five minutes and from a published musical. Preferably something not over done (i.e. “Popular” from Wicked or anything from that show for that matter, I love it, but soooo many people have done those songs, or “Adele’s Lament” from Guys and Dolls, or anything from Harispray or Legally Blonde). Comedic numbers tend to do really well and so do upbeat songs. Something like “In Short” from Edges (my friend is doing that one). Thanks for your help

The Diva song from Spamalot? (don’t know the name, it’s the one the lady of the lake sings)
If you don’t mind a little profanity you could do Songs for a New World “Just one step” (you might be able to edit it, it uses the F word a fair amount)
I also like Climbing up hill from “The Last Five Years” but it might be too adult.
