Lace Up Camisole
how to make a tutu? gcse textiles?
for my gcse textiles project i am makeing a simple spanish themed tutu which will have a red vodice and tutu wil alck lace decorating it
what i need to know is how to make t i feel like its will be unlikly i will walk into my nearest fabric shop and they will have a sewing pattern for a tutu.
i am going to make it have thin camisole straps and i need it to be basically a leotard made of streatchy material with the tulle atached but how do i do that? please help if you can i also would like the tutu to stay up like a pancake tutu but without a hoop

I haven’t made one myself but in my costume degree course another girl made one and this is what I remember – you need a type of net called tulle.
She made little ballet knickers and started sewing strips of tulle onto these – you need to start with really thin strips and then above that sew a slightly bigger strip and so on – this is what makes the tutu stand out to the side like that.
