Love Dreamer

Successful entrepreneurs are doers – not Dreamers – Too Inventors are confused about the difference

For many years I felt that if scratched any American who is scratching an entrepreneur. This is the country where business is possible and seemingly every citizen has an idea with commercial potential. Unfortunately, over time, I realized I was wrong. If you scratch most Americans is most likely scratching a dreamer.

The difference between a dreamer and a doer is profound. Successful entrepreneurs could have dreamed of initial success, but will not stop there. The drive to perform the necessary tasks to ensure successful outcomes that separates them from the kind of dream, which includes most of the people. Success is a goal that requires drive, determination, courage, courage, planning, discipline, sacrifice and passion. It is not easy, or everybody would be successful.

What makes an opportunity to succeed while another, although the most promising idea, no? Always comes down to the person and his makeup. A few no dreamer and the folds of his tent. The successful employer does not recognize as an obstacle, not a deal closer. The opportunity to overcome the objection represented by the word is not an absolute necessity for anyone looking for success as an entrepreneur.

Dreamers take shortcuts. Dreamers guess. Dreamers defer tedious. Dreamers hope someone will do the job for them. Dreamers can not succeed. And unfortunately, many perfectly wonderful business opportunities are lost because of this approach dream.

Employers always successful doers! They overcome obstacles that often seemingly endless placed in its path. The road to success is a curved one, rarely taking a linear approach. Makers find a way to jump each obstacle and move forward in the process. Doers do not fear criticism, but see this as an opportunity to improve its business model. Makers are realistic, no fantasy allowed.

Most importantly, the makers are realistic positive. Most of the dreamers are negative. Dreamers see obstacles as absolute barriers. Makers find a way, to attempt any legal strategy available for success.

Why most people work in jobs that do not really enjoy? They need an income, of course. Most of us have some level of work ethic. However, the work itself is often not rewarding. Many employees feel underpaid, undervalued, under-challenged. They want to do , can become more valuable and contribute more. But usually does not happen. They are trapped and remain so, usually. Often dream of the idea a great widget to get rich quick one that will change the course of his empty life. But it is only a dream.

Many entrepreneurs who have worked with wine posts labor impasse. However, they possessed the drive and desire to change the course of their lives for the better. His attachment was a vehicle for a big change and adjustment style of life. The opportunity offered by modern American capitalism is available to any employer to take by the neck and hold for an amazing trip.

I look at hundreds of trade shows each year. Less than one percent will become increasingly market. And yet, about 30% of the submissions are reviewed some level of commercial potential, the potential at times very high. It's sad to see so many dreamers who lack the cocktail of traits and qualities necessary for success. This is a great loss to the dreamer, our economy and society in general, since many of these ideas have real merit and utility.

After many years of teaching, coaching and consulting with prospective employers, I instinctively person can judge the chances of success. There is always an air of excitement about the opportunity, knowledge of competition, belief in the product and themselves. Namely Obviously if the initial meeting in person, by phone or e-mail.

The dreamer always appears as a tire kicker. With hope, without knowing, cloying in a way that highlights the shortcuts taken to approach a very competitive commercial market. "Let's make a million dollars together "is a dish that often receive. Another lose focus," I do not know the costs (or competition, or target demographic, etc) I only know we're going to make millions on this, my aunt loves Harriet. "There are many more similar vacuous introductions that accompany the otherwise interesting presentations. The predictable result is that the opportunity is immediately torpedoed.

Makers have an air of strength. No kicking tires, but they seem willing to make the whole car. They have the answers to your questions and are open to coaching. They are realistic and flexible. Dreamers often state that their project will sell for a million dollars. Makers recognize that a good deal is a deal in which each party is fairly compensated. Doers will do everything within reason to reach agreement happen.

It is a pity that the successful entrepreneur can not be taught or bought. No can! Personal makeup, energy, positive attitude and drive does not have the retail price. People are driven or achievements that are content to be average or less. Employers have the essential features and elements necessary for success in being wired. Why is not known, just know when I see it.

Many inventors recognize that they are creative, not business. They have the ability to create, design or invent, but not the ability to project their inventions in the market commercial. These creators are smart to seek professional help to ensure the placement or sale of their work. As Dirty Harry said: "A man must know its limitations. "Not everyone can become a successful entrepreneur, but there are alternative ways to treat the market. This approach is practical for many creative people.

Dreamers, unfortunately, are doomed to failure. Time will be lost, make mistakes, lose money and ultimately psychologically when the inevitable implosion failure is at hand.
