Sugarland Tickets – Sugarland CMT products nods fourth album Preparations
Sugarland a child may be relatively new on the block of country music-the first duo rose to fame with the release of two times the speed of life in 2004, but managed to tie with Jason Aldean and Lady Antebellum for the most nominations for the upcoming CMT Music Awards 2010. All three acts had four nominations CMT, said the boot to be broadcast live from the country music capital of Nashville on 09 June. The network announced the nominees on April 5, and fans can vote on page CMT Web until May 3 to narrow each category to four finalists (most are currently eight).
Two of the songs from Sugarland, "Keep You "and" Nightswimming / Joey "are named in the video and Duo of the Year category will face Caitlin & Will (" Address of the stars "), Bomshel (" Fight Like a Girl "), Brooks & Dunn (" Indian Summer "and" My invitation [only Mary] "), Steel Magnolia (" Keep on Lovin 'You ") and Joey and Rory (" Play the Song ").
Sugarland version of "Love Shack ", with the B-52 is nominated in the Collaborative Video of the Year category along with" Best Days of Your Life "(Kellie Pickler and Taylor Swift) "Heaven" (Jason Aldean and Bryan Adams), "Bone Hillbilly" (Blake Shelton and Trace Adkins), "Honky Tonk Stomp" (Brooks & Dunn and Billy Gibbons), "I'm Alive" (Kenny Chesney and Dave Matthews), "Ride Back Home" (John Mellencamp and Karen Fairchild) and "Somewhere between Jennings and Jones "(Shooter Jennings and Jamey Johnson, CMT Crossroads).
Finally, the performance of Sugarland "Love Shack" with the B-52 of the 2009 CMT Music Awards CMT is for performance of the Year. Other nominees include "Consider Me Gone" (Reba McEntire; of invitation), "Heaven" (Jason Aldean and Bryan Adams, the CMT Crossroads), "Looking for a good time" (Lady Antebellum; of the CMT Music Awards 2009) "Sideways" (Dierks Bentley of the CMT Music Awards 2009) and "Southern Voice" (Tim McGraw, invitation). The vote for a winner in all categories except Video of the Year will begin on May 11.
Sugarland's Jennifer Nettles and Kristian Bush are too busy to worry about CMT Prize to be won (if not all four!), As the duo is currently recording their fourth studio album. Tentatively titled The Incredible Machine, the next album is the follow up 2008's love at home and probably have 10 or 11 new songs, Billboard.com reported. Ortigas sat to talk with Billboard.com about the album, which has no release date yet, and hoped that fans can pick up the new album this fall.
The love inside the duo scored their first No. 1 country spot on the Billboard 200 and has sold 2.035 million copies to date, and The Incredible Machine is about to follow suit. In describing the process of recording the album, Billboard.com Nettles said, "You do not ballad heavy, though we do enjoy those moments of pathos. The methods use different options of instrumentation. I do not know if there is even a mandolin on this record. "Nettles also revealed that the album and upcoming tour of the duo are inspired by the movement "steampunk", a strain of science fiction that imagines a world where technology remained frozen in the Victorian era, while humans continued to evolve intellectually. "I describe it as emotionally bungee jumping and eating chocolate cake. It is terrible and rewarding all at the same time, "said Nettles.
Nettles and Bush will embark on their U.S. tour in Primm, Nevada, star Desert Arena on April 23.
