Pole Dancing Party – What a Hoot and Great For Fitness
My good friend called me last week to invite me to a girl's night party in place to week. I have been to their parties the girls before and had a good idea of the shenanigans that got up to – many glasses of wine, food, laughter and lots of gossip. It was a great how to download the stress of the past week, and laughing with girls. And my husband loved the happy wife came home drunk with him at the end of the night.
The night before the party, another friend called in a frenzy. "It's getting a stripper pole!" She cried out loud into the phone. So strong In fact, my husband heard from the other side of the kitchen table "Really?" Who? "Where?" I responded with such enthusiasm. It even told me that our friend who was to celebrate the party was going to rent a portable stripper pole and an instructor of the night. I could not stop laughing, I was like was a child again, and I was about to do something wrong. At that time my husband was standing next to me whispered in my ear as questions continued to laugh as a School girl. Nothing like this ever happened in our small community, and certainly would be stories to tell in the coming years.
On the night of great event, I changed into my comfortable yoga wear and jumped to the party. There were nine of us drinking wine, and laughing nervously at the pole in the center of the room. No one had the guts to be the first to play, so we hope for the pole aerobics instructor to be our guide.
An hour later she arrived. We felt the wine at that time, and perhaps hanging from a pole upside down was not the best next step. But that is exactly what we did. The instructor put something music, and taught us some moves to try. Swing around the pole without falling, and the lifting of the legs holding over our heads, that one was pretty funny. Who knew that strippers were so strong and flexible as that? New respect for the profession that spread across the room. Pole dance instructor then showed us a little routine that each of us had to make. In that time we were laughing so hard, did our routine fantasy and wrought with falls, sprains and bruises more.
After the pole dancing lessons were over, we had a few more glasses of wine and shared some very personal stories and had some great laughs.
I remember coming home to my husband eagerly ask questions and a small show. After the stories and wine and some wild imagination, my show was a little hotter than I've shared with the ladies, and I have to admit that our love life has improved dramatically since that night. I bought a pole for the home and have remained with the classes in our local community center (yes, they actually have aerobics stripper at the community center), and I've never been in better shape. I would say this to any woman who wants to get fit, have a good laugh, and add more romance to your life and relationships. If there is no class in your area, start one yourself. Practice makes perfect.
