Have you ever noticed that profound knowledge often comes packaged in the familiar when viewed in unconventional ways? Case in point is the phrase, "Let freedom ring." Being a citizen U.S., to me this phrase is associated with Philadelphia, Pennsylvania Liberty Bell, a symbol of independence (freedom) in the United States. From one point of view figurative, however, "freedom ring." makes me think that freedom really rings, rings or vibrates within us. Like a pebble thrown into a pond, free waves and expands in direct proportion to the object or thought that created it.
But I remember thinking the thought? Often I have been impressed by a wonderful book, seminar or CD that presents positive, life-changing principles that wanted to implement in my life. But, unfortunately, times a week, or certainly after a month had passed, so it was my commitment and I actually forgot to apply the procedures that had inspired me so much.
