What to wear to goth clubs?

I would like to check out some goth clubs (Das Bunker, etc), but I’m not too big on gothic fashion, as it’s pretty expensive. Does anyone know of what is worn at these clubs, or what I can do for really cheap?

Some goth clubs have a dress code. Which means those not meeting the minimum standard of “black attire” will have to pay more to get in. If this is so I’d wear anything as long as it’s black. Regardless of the possible dress code, I’d wear all black attire out of respect for the culture of the club and those who inhabit it. Not to mention you’ll probably get a lot of stares and negative attention walking into a goth club in khakis and a pastel colored shirt. Secondly, I’d wear what you feel comfortable in. It’s all up to what you find fashionable. Just as long as it’s black.

You can get really nice gothic clothing from thrift stores or even your average department store (i.e. JC Penny’s, Macy’s, Target, Wallmart). Get in mind what style you prefer and seek this out in stores such as these. You’ll save a bunch of money and have a more organic look. Hot Topic is nice but can be expensive as well. However, you can check out Hot Topic’s clearance rack and perhaps find a few cute accessories or clothing pieces.
