Barrel Vibration problems?
I am reloading my own ammo for 110gr TSX bullets in my .270, and I am only getting about 1 inch groups at 100m. I am weighing each charge to make sure each round has the same amount of powder, and I am sandbagging the rifle ect. and still can’t get any better groups. A friend suggested my barrel may be vibrating. If this is correct, how do I confirm this is the problem, would I be able to feel the barrel vibrating after each shot?
G’day mate there is nothing wrong with a one inch grouping that’s good at 100 meters try seeding the bullet out to get near the rifling or crimp the bullet.But your not going to get 3 bullets in the same hole you can get it really close but not 3 shots in one hole.Make sure yr barrel isn’t getting to hot also.cheers mate
